Bhawanipatna(Swaraj Agrawal) : Students of today are the leaders of tomorrow. The foundation of leadership is laid during student life itself. With this objective, Vikash Educational Institution organised its Investiture Ceremony for the Student Council of the CBSE Classes XI & XII and CHSE Higher Secondary students.The programme was graced by D. Shyam, Director of the institution, as the Chief Guest. The Guests of Honour included Directors D. Ram Kumar, Chief Education Officers D. Vijaya and D. Padmini, Principal-cum-Chief Administrator Yuvraj Nayak, Principal of Vikash Residential School Arati Mishra, Vice Principals Narayan Mohanty and Prasanjit Dutta, and Manager Gupteswar Khuntia. Following a democratic election process conducted separately for the CBSE and CHSE wings, students were elected as Head Boy, Head Girl, and Captains of various clubs and departments. During the grand ceremony, the newly elected student leaders were formally entrusted with their responsibilities by the dignitaries. Addressing the gathering, the guests congratulated the newly elected council members and encouraged them to lead with integrity, responsibility, and dedication. Principal-cum-Chief Administrator Yubaraj Nayak delivered the welcome address, while Physical Education Teacher Praveen Kumar administered the oath of office to the newly elected council members. The vote of thanks was proposed by Vice Principal Narayan Mohanty. The programme concluded successfully with the active cooperation and support of all the teachers, staff members, and employees of the institution.
