As many as 15 tents were gutted in a fire that broke out at the camp of Juna Akhara near Chamanganj Jhunsi in Mahakumbh Mela area. Police and fire brigade brought the fire under control. The cause of the fire has not been ascertained yet. There have been no casualties.
CFO Pramod Sharma said that on receiving information about the fire in the private tent about 06 km outside the Kumbh Mela area at around 02:00 pm, immediately the fire brigade team reached and controlled the fire. No one was injured in the fire incident.
