The double engine government, which is engaged in making the Mahakumbh grand, divine and new, is going to take important steps for the convenience of devotees on Mauni Amavasya. On the demand of the state government, the central government has decided to exempt tax at all seven toll plazas on entering Prayagraj during the Mahakumbh.
Toll tax will not be charged on entering the Kumbh city from 8 pm on January 27 till 30 January i.e. 72 hours during the main bathing festival. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has started the process of making the process toll free.
