Bhawanipatna,4/8(Swaraj Agrawal) : Odia Journalism Day was celebrated by the Media Club at the RMC Conference Hall in Junagarh. The programme was held under the chairmanship of the Club President, Aditya Prasad Mohanty.During the event, participants held detailed discussions on the various challenges faced by journalists, their professional difficulties, and the present state of journalism. Senior journalist Mukesh Agrawal attended the programme as the Chief Guest and shared his views on resolving journalists’ issues, upholding ethical standards in journalism, and fulfilling the social responsibilities of the profession. He also urged journalists to work together in unity for the overall development and strengthening of the profession.Among those present were Media Club Secretary Bijaya Bhusan Dandasena, Vice-President Purna Panigrahi, Joint Secretary Baleswar Sunani, Treasurer Swastideep Aditya, along with Jitendra Meher, Labanya Naik, Saptaswara Padhi, Suresh Bag, Dulendra Meher, and Kalia Kandapan, who actively contributed to the successful organisation of the programme. The event concluded with the unanimous adoption of several resolutions aimed at promoting the welfare of the journalist community and strengthening the organisation.
